Early-Stage Access Paragon starts on Windows and PS4
Paragon, the Moba-game developer Epic Games is now open for players. Against payment of a minimum of 19.99 euros to gamers on Windows and PlayStation 4 directly play the game.
Epic Games lead designer Steve Superville make the news known to the Paragon blog. It is the first time Paragon is playable to the public and the studio therefore stresses that it will be noticeable that the game is not finished yet. Epic Games calls it Early Access but puts the game out explicitly as an alpha or beta. What Superville does say is that there are “built and improved” is to the game. That is to say that there is added to the content and probably still is a alfa.
Access to the game players get by buying a founder’s pack. The cheapest of these is 19.99 euros and the other two cost 59.99 and 99.99 euros. The more expensive the founder’s pack, the more opportunities for players to skins, XP boosts and cosmetic items to unlock. The progress made by players at this stage of the development of the game, is permanent; there is no stat wipe will occur. For those who want to wait until the development of the game is more advanced, there is a summer open beta test. To join them, so players do not have to pay. Or the final game also free-to-play will be is not completely clear. Sometime this summer Paragon gets a release.
Epic Games announced Paragon last November to. The game is a Moba, or massive online battle arena, a genre known for popular games like League of Legends and Dota 2. Unlike those two games Paragon gets however a third-person -perspectief. That’s something that can be found in Moba-game Smite is.
