consoles from Anthem players
Publisher Electronic Arts confirms that Anthem players on PlayStation 4 can experience problems that lead to completely closing consoles. Recently, quite a few players have complained about this.

Electronic Arts reports that it is aware of reports of a ‘crash problem’ that occurs when playing Anthem. The publisher reports that the problem is being investigated and asks players to forward the crash data when requested. It is still unclear what the exact cause is, how widespread the problem is and when a solution is in sight.

At the official game forum of EA , a community manager asks players to respond if they face hard crashes while playing Anthem. Players must indicate which PS4 version it concerns, when the crash took place and which steps have been taken to get the device back on track. At the time of writing almost 600 players under the message from the community manager have reported the specific problem.

It is a crash while playing Anthem, where players do not end up in the main menu or the game is closed; instead, the PlayStation 4 console completely shuts down, with the normal start-up procedure often not sufficient to get the device back on track. There has recently been complained about by all kinds of players . For example, some players had to cut off the power to start up their PlayStation 4 again, while a few of them would stop working after the crash.
