Elon Mask Presents The First Model Of The Tesla Model 3

Elon Mask, chief executive of luxury electric car maker Tesla, unveiled the first commercial model of the Tesla Model 3 after months of information and reports that monitored multiple car models in California. The CEO posted two car pictures through his account on Twitter’s mini-blogging platform Late Saturday night.

The prototype of the Tesla Model 3 was expected to appear this week. Mask said that the first 30 customers who pre-ordered the vehicle would receive it at a concert on the 28th of this month. Production is expected to increase to 100 vehicles per month Next August, more than 1,500 vehicles by September, and then 20,000 by the end of December.

Tesla seems to be able to break through the revised schedule, which is a great news for hundreds of thousands of fans who have made advance orders since March 2016. The total number of orders was more than 134,000 within 24 hours of opening applications.

Model 3 is the biggest step for Tesla so far with its attempts to provide electric cars for the masses. The sedan is much less expensive within the brand’s brand model S model and model X model launched so far, Thousand US dollars.

Tesla plans to double shipments by the end of the year, and hopes next year that it will be able to ship 500,000 cars of all models annually, with about 400,000 pre-orders waiting for their cars. The company has developed a plan to produce 500,000 cars of this model in 2018, after selling 85,000 cars in 2016.

The car is being assembled at the Tesla plant in Fremont, while the batteries come from the gigantic Jaguafactory plant that is still under construction in the Nevada desert. A Bloomberg report has indicated that electric cars and components in hybrid cars will make up about 35 percent of the car market In the world by 2040.
