Eneco acquires developer ‘smart’ thermostat Show on




Eneco Quby, developer of thermostat Show, completely. The acquisition of the software company Quby fits the Eneco’s strategy to “invest heavily in innovation and cooperation with young technology companies.

That says Eneco Monday. Eneco already had a majority stake of 53 percent in Quby and takes this transaction, all shares. Quby now has about 100 employees and still remains in his office in Amsterdam. Co-founder Ivo De La Rive Box is the new CEO of the management. Financial details were not disclosed.

Quby sold so far 175 000 Display Devices in the Netherlands. Eneco wants the concept of exporting the world “because” many global energy companies’ would be looking for a platform like tone. The ambition of Eneco is’ Show one million users in Europe in 2017.
