Eneco has sold eighty Tesla batteries at home in Benelux
Eneco has so far sold eighty home batteries in the Benelux in the Netherlands thirty and fifty in Belgium. That makes the company announced following the introduction of a service that should stimulate sales: CrowdNett.
That sales of home batteries hardly gets going, it makes Ronald Bohte, energy manager at Eneco, known to the AD. “If we take other brands along, then hang exceeding fifty batteries at home in Dutch houses,” he says. He believes that the high costs involved: Eneco produces the Tesla Power Wall including installation and inverter off for 4,500 euros, but normally can rise the price up to more than 6,500 euros.
Unlike in Belgium is back to supply and favorable subsidy scheme, owners of solar electricity in the Netherlands to the grid, and this will be deducted from their energy costs. Thereby storing electricity is less interesting. Eneco made known late last year the exclusive supplier of Tesla Power Walls to be and the company gave when receiving hundreds of home batteries for sale. Those sales began in the first quarter. In Germany, there are government incentives for renewable energy at home and thirty batteries sold by Eneco.
To boost sales, announced Eneco last week CrowdNett-initiative. The company wants to establish a network of Power Walls which peaks and troughs in the grid can absorb for operator TenneT. Participants will receive 450 euros per year for participation. Eneco aims to establish a network of initially four hundred home batteries. According to the AD CrowdNett now has seven copies.Viewing:-68
