Ericsson: growing expectation for smart phone users in Saudi Arabia

Concluded the latest consumer lab reports from the company Ericsson “growing expectations” that the behavior of the use of broadband networks in Saudi Arabia is witnessing a clear distinctive when compared to global markets.

The reason behind it, according to Ericsson, the high rates of ownership of smart phones, and access to fourth generation networks, the great interest in the new service.

According to the Swedish telecommunications company said the study provides in-depth results represent a summary of the views of more than 2,000 users of smart phones, are using mobile communications networks. It sheds light on the emergency-use changes and the behaviors associated with broadband networks in Saudi Arabia.

It also revealed that 43% of smart phone users aged between 16 to 29 years, to watch a video “And- demand” every week. According to the report, showing 54% of smart phones who are between the ages of 16 and 24-year-old users, and a clear interest in social discovery services, while 64% (between 25 and 29 years old) say they are interested in home networking-related services.
