Escape Dead Island – From all too little

Bad is not it, Escape Dead Island, but a little boring. The story is still nice and gives more insight into the background of the series, but the action is unsatisfactory. There is particularly little development in the game. You have few weapons and tools and can not develop your character. You may not modify or assemble and does not have to be inventive to keep the zombies from you. The game has a nice character, but gameplay is what concerns rather dull.

Techland itself delivered in 2013. Dead Island: Riptide off and we are working hard to Dead Island 2. Meanwhile, the Swedish Fatshark got busy with Dead Island Escape. Sidestep that must fill the gap between the already published games from Techland Dead Island and 2. In other words: Fatshark had the hot breath of Dead Island 2 in the neck when creating Dead Island Escape. It shows; it’s not quite the game we had been hoping for.

Dead Island Escape Review

Publisher Deep Silver wants Escape Dead Island mainly do the story explained that the core of the series: how is it possible that there are zombies surfaced on Banoi, the island where the first game is going on? That is also why Escape is not a first person shooter, like his predecessors. In this way, the story should better get out of the paint. So this time you look on the back of protagonist Cliff Calo. That is new; the four main characters from the first game are gone. Instead, you’ll have to make do with Calo and two friends, whose only Calo is playable. Who – along with Linda and Devan – the yacht of his rich dad swiped. The three of them want to discover the secret behind the outbreak of the zombie virus, to become famous with that journalistic scoop.

They end up on Narapela, an island in the same archipelago as Banoi. It is not just an island; Narapela is located on the headquarters of Geopharm, the company would have made the zombie virus. The journalistic adventure of Cliff, Linda and Devan is only part of the story. Escape is also the story of rich man’s son Cliff as mid-twenties finally under his father’s wings trying to get out. My son is quite spoiled, but does now trying to stand on their own, though he still his father’s yacht in need.
