ESET has announced an exceptional performance for the third time in a row in the latest version of the AVTest Anti-Virus Self-Test Test by the German security company AVTest. ESET has achieved 100% of the tests for business products and consumer products, making it the only company to record this score every time.

The company, which specializes in proactive security software for users, said this test reviews 32 security solutions for file protection using ASLR and DEP.

The test also focused on the most important self-protection capabilities of e-security software related to the executable PE files within the user mode in 32 and 64-bit operating systems. The test also included the evaluation of signing file certificates and HTTPS.

Andreas Marks, Chief Executive Officer of AVTest, said: “Suppliers should place protection at the top of their priorities to provide exceptional protection for various areas of e-security. We are pleased to say that the products of the company has achieved the highest performance in all versions of our self-protection test for anti-virus programs. ”

“We are committed to developing and delivering stable and effective products to protect our users from the various security threats associated with IT that may affect the daily business process,” said Dimitris Raikos, General Manager, ESET Middle East. Our repeated success in the test reflects our dedication and relentless efforts to enhance the ability of companies to protect their sensitive data. ”

When the results of the first self-protection test were released in 2014, only two companies were able to apply ASLR and DEP. During the most recent version of the test, half of the analyzed solutions achieved the highest levels of complete self-protection, a qualitative step at the sector level.
