EU Court eight US not safe “data haven ‘




The European Court of Justice ruled Tuesday that the US does not provide adequate protection for personal data transferred from EU citizens. Safe Harbor disposal of the EU is therefore invalid, which could have major implications for Internet companies.

According to the European Court of Justice are the US powers in the fields of national security, the public interest and the detection above that of the safe harbor principles. For conflicts with those powers, the US must therefore be to ignore the protection of the Safe Harbour provisions, argues the ECJ.
