Evga provides mATX version X99-board USB 3.1 type-c
The US Evga introduces a micro-ATX motherboard which is equipped with a single USB 3.1 type c-port at the back. The gate has a bandwidth of 10Gb / s and can deliver up to 100 watts of power. A cable to this port can not wrong to be plugged.
Previously, the same port already found on include the new MacBook and the Chromebook Pixel 2015 where the double gate serves as a connection for the power adapter and connection points for external devices. When connected to the motherboard port could also serve as a delivery point of power and input and output of data simultaneously.
As Evga do more with its motherboards, this model has also been given extensive support for overclocking of the different components. The Evga X99 Micro2 also has over its predecessor, the X99 Micro, more SATA ports and a custom layout and bios.
The X99 Micro2 is based on Intel X99 Express Chipset and can accommodate a maximum octacore processor with a lga2011-3 socket. There is also support for up to 64GB DDR4 memory spread across 4 DIMM’s.
The inputs and outputs are provided by four USB 2.0 ports, four USB 3.0 ports and single USB 3.1 type-C port. Internally, there is space for six SATA600 ports and there are headers for USB 2.0 and USB 3.0. Finally, there is a socket m.2 present and supports the board 3-way SLI. The Evga X99 Micro2 is not yet available in the Benelux. The Evga store model costs $ 229, converted and currently around 255 euros including VAT.Viewing:-211
