Evolution of smartphone camera – Seven generations compared

Go back in time, to six years ago: 2010. Which phone when you walked around? It was the time of the Google Nexus One, HTC Desire, Apple iPhone 4, Samsung Galaxy S, BlackBerry Torch, LG Optimus 7, Motorola Droid X and Nokia N8. these phones produced some good photos and videos? Instinctively, perhaps, but what is that compared with a high-end smartphone of the moment?

The sensors have been increasing in the past six years and the lenses brighter. The computing power has increased enormously, so images can be better optimized, and the resolution of both stills and video is significantly inflated. Sales of cameras have collapsed, because we are more and more pictures with our smartphone and filming.

We were wondering how the evolution of six smartphone cameras looks like in practice and how big the differences really are now. In order to verify that we have the full Samsung Galaxy S series, from 2010 to now, put under the magnifying glass.
