Experts have developed the world’s first nanoprotsessor
Scientists at Harvard University (Harvard University) in collaboration with MITRE Corporation have created the world’s first nanoprotsessor, called nanoFSM.
Nanoprotsessor range in size from 3 to 130 micrometers and consists of transistors ten thousand times smaller than a human hair. By combining transistors in nanoblocks can create larger computer systems. nanoFSM can be programmed to perform simple arithmetic and logical operations.
Another important feature of transistors is that they are not very volatile and can maintain its state after a power outage, according phys.org.
The developers hope that midget size and features nanoprotsessora allow the use of the development management of various kinds of electronic microsystems and create powerful computational schemes.
