Facebook acquires company specializing developed video compression techniques
Facebook announced the acquisition of the company “Quick Fire Networks” QuickFire Networks emerging, a company specializing in the development of techniques to compress video clips when you take them on websites.
And provide a “Quick Fire Networks” techniques to compress video clips without affecting the quality, and it is making those sections consume less amount of data about whether to run when the user during viewing or servers against her sites.
Facebook did not disclose or Quick Fire Networks for any details about the acquisition or financial value, but the deal is expected to contribute to the support of the social network of video-related policy.

It was Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of “Facebook”, confirmed last October that the videos will represent the future of the content that is shared on the social network, which makes the attention of the utmost importance for his company.
Zuckerberg’s comments came after figures revealed by Facebook last September make sure the growth of the participation rate of the video clips on the social network, which impact positively on the proportions of the video views for up to one billion views a day.
Facebook has seen in the last 2014 annual increase, compared to 2013, the percentage share videos on social network was estimated at 75% at the level of all users around the world, and 94% at the level of users in America.
