Facebook allows users worldwide to post comments videos. The possibility is the result of a hackaton at the company, earlier this year. Facebook will bring the option to the web version of the social network and the iOS and Android apps.

Users can video add on the camera icon next to the response field. The functionality was developed early this year during the fiftieth hackaton within Facebook. According to the developers, it was not easy to create the combination as well as comments videos generate a lot of traffic. In addition, support for multiple interfaces gave the development team some headaches.

Video plays a growing role in Facebook. Early this year, the platform announced that users daily total of 100 million hours of video available on the site. Facebook has its video platform include enhanced with live video streaming and 360gradenvideo programs. The latter were last September announced and are now posted and viewed.
