Facebook and Microsoft public authorities requests the U.S.

Both Facebook and Microsoft have published figures on official inquiries, including NSA requests. The numbers can calm down, but do not need it. Facebook received in the second half of 2012 9000-10000 requests, which in turn affect 18,000 accounts.

With 1.1 billion active users per month, that sounds only once not much. Microsoft received in the same period 6000-7000 NSA requests, additionally 31000-32000 requests for subpoenas and orders. Also not much.

Maybe the questions are but only an indication that much just does not run through the official channels. So many signs indicate that this whole bugging scandal is much greater than previously assumed. When is monitored not only by official inquiries, it also brings nothing to publish the numbers on that. Naturally, however, is that the companies involved try everything to come over now as transparent as possible. Google and Twitter will also not publish figures. That are unlikely in the two major outlier here.
