Facebook boosts profits mainly through mobile ads, stock shoots up

While Google had breakfast yesterday and besides the new Nexus 7 , Android 4.3 and Chrome Cast imagined, Facebook announced its quarterly results. These are not bad, which also led to a strong increase of the Facebook share at the end.

The driving force behind Facebook are of course the users. All the doomsayers Facebook has seen more and more daily active users monthly active users compared to last year. The daily users increased by 27%, in figures are the total of 699 million people that call every day on Facebook. In monthly users, an increase of 21% was recorded, here we now stands at 1.15 billion.

Facebook’s mobile strategy seems to be working fully. The daily mobile users make 469 million. During the month there are 819 million mobile users, a jump of 51% over the previous year.

No wonder that the business is thriving with mobile ads. 41% of total sales with advertising comes from mobile ads, which have risen in price. The total revenue comes from the active advertisers who have crossed the 1 million mark.
