Facebook comes with an option for automatic subtitling of video ads

Facebook will offer advertisers the ability to video ads provide automatic subtitles. The function will be made available worldwide in the coming weeks, but for now only works in English-language films.

Currently advertisers to their videos subtitles provided by baking it into the video file, or by uploading a single file with subtitles. Because video ads on Facebook are often viewed without sound, wants to make it easier for the social network for advertisers to add subtitles. This must be done with a new tool for automatic captions, which will be available in the Facebook Ads Manager and Power Editor.

Advertisers should enable automatic subtitles when uploading their TV commercial. When the subtitles are generated, they will see a preview and can still adjustments to be made for publication. YouTube uses some years automatically generated subtitles in his videos, but users can turn it on yourself.

A test of Facebook would reveal that videos with subtitles viewed longer. The average viewing time would increase by twelve percent. Facebook argued video ads at the end of 2013. Advertising Movies are automatically played back without sound. Only when the user clicks or presses the sound is played in the movie.
