Facebook reached to settle the with Timelines company regarding a lawsuit filed by the latter, which accused Facebook infringement on its intellectual property of the brand Timeline or “time line”.

Timeline company was founded in Chicago in January 2007, and launched its Timelines.com in 2009. The registration numbers owns the brand name of the company, location and design mark “Timelines”.
The site allows users to participate in the registration and documentation of various historical events pictures, text, video, and share them with others. He says it helps users to discover history in unexpected ways and unique, and offers “a history record people for the people.”
