Facebook is building support for animated gifs




Facebook has this week added support for gif image in its social network. It is the first time that the American company moving pictures permitting time lines users. There are, however, restrictions.

The Next Web reports Friday after a tip that Facebook has added functionality to its service. To place gif users only need to insert a link to a picture. Facebook, however, allows users by unknown reason not to upload gif image to the site.

Through a page to see how the animated poison deployment of Facebook is working in practice. The Next Web notes that the functionality is not yet everywhere seem to work. This suggests that Facebook, the feature is currently rolling out.

It is the first time since the founding of Facebook that the US company massively moving pictures permit on his site. Previously, this was already possible in the form of unofficial workarounds.
