Facebook Messenger: end-to-end encryption now available for all
About two weeks ago, Facebook began to unlock the end-to-end encryption in Messenger for users. Immediately the function is now available for all. While such chats offer the benefit of encryption, but they can be used only on the machine on which they were initiated. To start such a secret, encrypted chat, you simply choose a contact and then place the top right a “secret” button. Does your those you can select a contact and communicate encrypted with this then afterwards.
Another limitation of the secret chats are mailable content. So only text, images and stickers can be sent. Not possible are secret group chats, video sending, GIFs, voice or video calls and sending payments. All details to it on the Help page of Facebook . You should now the new function definitely see if you do not have in your Messenger for a couple days. An app update for this was not necessary for me.
Should you function still do not see a look at the settings of the Messengers, whether secret conversations are activated and brings it to the doubt.Viewing:-93
