Facebook proposes new privacy policy a month




Facebook has the introduction of the much-discussed changes in the privacy conditions delayed a month. Where the new guidelines would actually start on 1 January, has changed according to their own site in 30th.

The Dutch Data Protection Authority has recently Facebook asked to postpone the change of the current policy. The organization is doing research to the new privacy policy. CBP wants to find out what the implications of the new policy for Facebook users in the Netherlands. However, it is unclear whether there is a connection between that request and it announced postponement.

Update, 17:15: A spokesman indicates opposite NOS that the change has been delayed to allow users’ more reflection.
