Facebook test function ‘floating’ videos

Facebook is currently testing a feature where users can play video as a separate window in the site. As a result, it is possible to continue scrolling through the news feed while viewing the video.

Some users the functionality may already apply, while others have not seen him, reports The Next Web. Such tests do the social network more often, which may or may not function later become available to all users. In that way it tested earlier example new designs in its mobile apps and interface changes.

The function is shown by a button at the bottom of the tray, controls with the video, in addition to buttons on the resolution and volume. A click on the button causes the video is released from the spot on the site and as a window on top of the Facebook feed happening .

Facebook itself has not announced the new feature. The US social network pays more attention to features for videos.
