Find a Question:
Facebook will stop cooperation with Bing search engine
Facebook shows no longer Bing search results on its website. Instead used the social networking site now only its own search engine.
A Facebook spokesperson confirmed opposite Business Insider that the partnership with Microsoft’s Bing will put stop. There are no more results from Microsoft’s search engine shown in Facebook. This is because the company behind the social networking site want to emphasize on content that is findable on Facebook, allowing web results no longer have a place in the search engine.
Facebook itself is working for some time to improve its own search technology. So recently came out with the ‘social’ search engine Graph Search, which can be contextual queries. It is also possible recently to postings by search . Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg had previously announced that more than one billion messages have been posted on the site, which, according to the CEO search is more content than competitive engines. So it seems that Facebook itself a full-fledged search engine will be.
Despite the Bing search results not shown Facebook would be working with Microsoft to put through. What this means, in practice, is not clear. Microsoft shows still Facebook content in the Bing search engine.Viewing:-107
