Falcon Pro bypasses user limit for Twitter Apps
The developer of the Twitter application for Android Falcon Pro has found a way to accept new users by letting users create. Their own api-key Falcon Pro may be relatively new Twitter app officially only 100,000 users.
Last year kondige Twitter that there is a limit of 100,000 users for new Twitter apps came, they want more users can have, then they should get permission from Twitter. In practice this means that applications that provide the same functionality as the official Twitter apps get permission. Because the relatively new Twitter app Falcon Pro is the 100,000 users, that application so officially accept no more new users.
The developer of the application, however, a detour found to still be able to accept new users. Users must be on the developer site Twitter create their own application, so they get their own API key. Which can then use them in place of the official API-key of Falcon Pro. While that is probably to the chagrin of Twitter, there is little the microblogging service can do. Against the custom login option The risk is therefore present that other new Twitter apps this functionality will be installing.
The functionality is hidden in the application, but was discovered by a Google+ user. Who wants to unlock the functionality to the login screen bottom right corners, top right and top left tap and then shake the phone. Then the message that the ‘custom login’ option is available appears. Falcon Pro is not available for download in the Play Store, the apk can be done via the official website for download.
