Far Cry Primal Preview – Familiar and yet different
In about a month is Far Cry Primal in the shops, a game that only last autumn was announced by Ubisoft. Partly due to these foreign visitors, there is confusion about the game originated. Thus, there is still the idea that is a sort of extension for Primal Far Cry 4, just like the Blood Dragon-spinoff that was for Far Cry 3. However, this is not the case, and therefore, in order that it now calls Ubisoft the hardest here indeed is a whole new game in the long running series.

Nevertheless, it is not hard to imagine why Primal as an expansion or spin-off could be seen. Whoso looketh into the game sees similarities between Primal Far Cry and Far Cry 4. In this game you could be in some parts command a tiger, and that aspect – to cooperate with an animal and take advantage of its unique qualities – seems one of the important aspects of Far Cry to be Primal. The game played out about 10,000 years BC, in a fictitious area that is filled with a wide range of existing and mythical beasts that provide the player with different challenges and opportunities.
The player takes on Far Cry Primal the role of Takkar, a hunter who comes to standing alone as his group ambushed runs which he alone survives. Takkar so begins his adventure in the fictional area Oros, friendless and without weapons. Therein lies immediately a big difference with the previous Far Cry games. The prehistoric setting of the game also means namely that there are no conventional weapons in Far Cry Primal. Weapons are, of course, but they are limited to what hunters in the Stone Age were able to create objects and raw materials from the environment.
That means Takkar, in a most favorable situation, is equipped with simple pointed weapons and sticks and primitive bow-and-bows. Takkar also can make some simple bombs and it is equipped with some handy extras, such as bait to lure wild beasts. These beasts are in fact the main weapon. Takkar can tame them and them as ‘companion’ him on his adventures. It soon becomes apparent that such a creature to your side is a necessity, because survival in the pre-historic jungle is not exactly easy.Viewing:-131
