FBI chief: China tops the list in terms of cybercrime

FBI chief James Comey has in the American television program 60 Minutes openly elated about the danger and consequences of cyber crime for the country. In addition, he said that China is at the top of the list when it comes to cyber attacks.

There are two types according to Comey major companies in the USA: companies that have been hacked by the Chinese and firms that have not been hacked by the Chinese as reports CBS News. A complete list of countries accused the FBI chief in the television not released, but Corney ensures that China top. The hackers would aggressively proceed and pay little attention to their front. Corney said that Chinese attacks are easy to identify. “I see them as drunken burglars. They kick the door in, knocks a vase and then to walk away with a TV out.”

The exact financial loss is unknown. It was estimated to be billions of dollars annually. Comey appoints that it comes to intellectual property. For example, the Chinese would hunt certain techniques, so that the country itself does not need to develop. That in turn would be at the expense of American jobs.

In May, five Chinese hackers have been indicted for theft of trade secrets in six American companies. In recent years, the United States and China accused each other of hacking numerous times, including for economic purposes.
