FBI reveals breakthrough ‘ anonymous ‘ to US Government computers since last December
Detection of the US Federal Bureau of investigation (FBI) about the campaign started by a hacker known as “anonymous” a year ago, which penetrated the computers of u.s. Government agencies.
The Office said in a memorandum released Thursday, hackers have exploited weaknesses in one software “Adobe” to penetrate US Government computers last December and throughout the year.
The pirates opened the rear doors on those computers to facilitate interested in further infiltration, and included those that have been hacked to transform it high-level contacts as the US Army and the ministries of health and energy.
The Bureau warned in his memorandum, the Government authorities of the seriousness of the breaches, and stressed the need to start checking the internal systems and determine the size of the statement which has been leaked as a result of those e-campaign launched by “anonymous”.
For its part, Reuters News reported that an internal memo written by “Kevin knobloch, Chief, US Energy Secretary, said that the campaign received the personal information of about 104,000 employees and contractors with the Department of energy as well as information about 20,000 bank account.
The FBI believes that “anonymous” that has nothing to do with the British penetration “Laurie” Luv electronic systems belonging to the US Department of Defense and US space agencies NASA and environmental protection; and the “Luv” was arrested in Britain last month.
The “anonymous” is a group of anonymous hackers and not belonging to one country, a group that began to emerge since 2003, known as the protest movements against Governments and repressive regimes, as, through cyber attacks.
The American Justice had recently punished one of the pirates ‘ anonymous ‘, Jeremy Hammond, for penetrating Systems Inc. “STRATFOR” analytical and called in the American media “shadow” intelligence.
