“FBI warns of Iranian hackers”
In a confidential document, the FBI warned US companies to be wary of Iranian hackers. Especially defense and energy companies would be the target, like a number of educational institutions.
The warnings have been expressed in a confidential document by Reuters recognized . The so-called flash report provides insight into the techniques of attack and malware that would use the Iranian hackers to penetrate at US companies, according to Reuters. The FBI would also have discovered that the Iranian hacking program is larger than originally thought. FBI executive Stuart McClure would have said it underscores the plans of Iran to cripple major US infrastructure.
Some companies were identified that are potential targets of the hackers. In addition, it is also about companies and organizations outside the United States. The FBI encourages companies to report if they think to have become victim of hackers.
