FIFA 16 Review – No longer the best

FIFA 16 manages to show realistic football in a game, but that includes the question of ultimate realism it is a guarantee for ultimate fun. At times there can be last among the first. This makes the gameplay not less good, but very occasionally something less fun. Furthermore, it is unfortunate that the major league players as counterfeit moderate, that the level of the commentary is stationary for several years and that the career mode is still working with the same cumbersome scouting system. Separately, FIFA can still lean on an excellent basis and a wide range of games, which should include women’s and a little bit more sophisticated Ultimate Team game mode. This has the effect that 16 is a good FIFA game, but in order to remain at the very top is necessary.

After the FIFA series around 2010 took over the reins of Pro Evolution Soccer as the best football game on the market, EA Sports soccer game began its most successful period ever. In the five years that followed, we saw FIFA to become a worldwide popular game to a brand that is much broader deployed. Ultimate Team, in which you put together a team of players you find in digital packets of cards, was a resounding success and through social media EA held the interest of the fans of the game series continues. All that has led to millions of gamers worldwide look forward each year to the latest release. Their wait was rewarded again this week, because from Thursday is FIFA 16 in stores.

This is not a traditional video review, but a video in which we FIFA 16 and PES 2016 have put against each other to show the strengths and weaknesses of both games clearly come. The text in the written review or just about FIFA 16.

The game expands in all respects on FIFA 15. This is reflected in the variety of game modes in the graphics and gameplay. However, FIFA 16 also features a completely new component, which previously was in a football game, and so far is exclusive to the FIFA series. In FIFA 16 gamers can because for the first time to work with female players. EA Sports has added twelve FIFA women’s national teams 16. The rationale behind this is that if women’s football has a place in world football, it also must have a place in FIFA. That has now happened so.

What strikes immediately is that Dutch women’s team is missing. That’s unfortunate for us, but as for the international relationship: our ladies flew on the World Cup for women this year in the eighth finals against Japan, which later played the final and lost to the United States. In that respect, it is striking that the losing finalist nor sits in the offer. Spain then there back in it, but the country survived the group stage is not. The selection of countries is therefore best to find fault. Still, with FIFA 16 is begun. Will likely increase the number of represented countries in the coming years.

Once you get to work with the women’s teams will notice that the gameplay is not strikingly different. The women handle the game more or less the same rate as men, and the best players have the same high ratings. Whether that means that the best players from Germany and the United States are indeed as good as Messi, Ronaldo and Robben we do not know. This test can not unfortunately because female teams may play only against other women’s teams. Understandable, but also a shame; to win the German women’s team of the German men’s team would have been fun. That limitation also means that gamers will soon be bored with the women’s teams; always play the same tournament with the same twelve teams will
