Firmware update: Netgear AC3200 Nighthawk X6




Netgear logo (90 pix) Netgear has released new firmware for its AC3200 Nighthawk X6 Tri-Band WiFi Router, also known as R8000. This router can send a time on the 2.4 and twice in the 5 GHz band and receive data, and has a theoretical throughput of up to 3200Mbit / s. There are five Gigabit Ethernet ports are provided, one of which is on the WAN side and the other four can be used internally, and a USB 2.0 and a USB 3.0 connection available. The version number of this firmware release is firmly put on and the changelog is as follows:

New Features:
Supports Dynamic QoS.
Supports remote access with the genius app.
Bug Fixes:
Fixes the UPnP daemon crash issue When The R8000 router these receives a SOAP message from QNAP NAS that’s about the maximum length.
Fixes CVE-2014-3566 (POODLE: TSL vulnerability).
Improves the wireless connection stability between the R8000 router and the EX7000 and EX6200 extenders.
