Firmware update: Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 Smart Wi-Fi Router (R7000)




Netgear has released new firmware for its AC1900 Nighthawk Smart Wi-Fi Router, also referred to as R7000. This router can transmit on both the 2.4GHz and the 5GHz band and receive data, and has a theoretical throughput of up to 1300 Mbit / s. In addition, five Gigabit Ethernet ports are provided, one of which is on the WAN side and the other four can be used internally, and a USB 2.0 and a USB 3.0 connection available. The version number of this firmware release is firmly put in and the changelog is as follows:

New Features & Enhancements:

Certified for CE DFS Channels: Supports 5G 5G band 2 and band 3 channels for European Countries: Channel 52, 56, 60, 64, 100, 104, 108, and 112.
Added a manual database rescan button for DLNA.

Bug fixes:

WiFi fixed some stability issues.
Fixed the MAC 10:10 home route issue for VPN service.
Forces the PPPoE connection mode to “Always on” when Ready Cloud is enabled. This is to preventinfo Cloud Ready When the PPPoE Internet access failure idle times out.
Fixed the issue where Ready Cloud registration sometimes fails in areas of China.
Fixed the issue where the USB printer can not be used When access control set to “Block all new devices from connecting.”
Fixed the issue where the remote router management fails in some browsers.
