Find a Question:
First malicious app in Ubuntu Phone Store – Update
It’s someone managed to put an app in Ubuntu Phone store that could fit the boot splash screen of a Meizu phone on, something which would not be possible. Still managed to get the app by the automatic test system. The app has been removed.
It writes Softpedia following a report from one of his readers. The application named ‘test’ could change the boot splash screen, which should not. If the application is something other than it did, it is not yet clear. The Ubuntu developers have now removed the app and everyone who installed the potentially malicious program, received an e-mail expressing concern that the application “test” built by “developer mmrow, version 0.1 ‘potentially harmful. The application only works on devices that use a armhf processor.Viewing:-106
