Fractal Design introduces Kelvin coolers

The Swedish Fractal Design has announced its latest series coolers at Computex. The Kelvin-series is available in three sizes and is expandable with additional heat sinks or an additional radiator.

The Kelvin-series is developed in collaboration with Alphacool that experience in the field of water cooling has. Although Kelvin coolers are as all-in-one system sold, they are called extensible: users can add an additional CPU or GPU cooler on the circuit, or add an additional radiator for more cooling capacity. The tubes are standard 1/4 “versions and also the fluid can easily be replenished.

The Kelvin-series is available in three versions, with two or three included fans. The smallest is the thick T12, which is an extra thick radiator for two 120mm fans in push-pull configuration. The S24 is a double-120mm radiator with two fans side by side, while the S36 has three fans side by side. The heat sink and radiators of the Kelvin-series are made of copper, which should provide better performance and durability than aluminum. The prices of the T12, S24 and S36 are respectively 75, 86 and 100 euros.

In addition to the Kelvin series Fractal Design has extended its Core series housings earlier this week at Computex. The new Core X3 enclosures are the 1100 , 1300 , 2300 and 3300 and complement the previously released in 1500, 2500 and 3500 to. The Core X3 enclosures must Fractal Designs design for a low price make it accessible, while retaining a large number of features. The housings are matx format in the Core 1100, 1300 and 1500, with the ATX 2300 and 2500 and in 3300 and 3500 can even fit a EATX board. The housings are equipped with USB 3.0 ports, the larger versions have a fan controller and provide ample space for cables.
