Framework in OS X 10.11.4 hint name change for MacOS

A hidden framework in OS X 10.11.4 seems to indicate that Apple is playing with the idea of the operating system to baptize in MacOS. Thus the name would be placed in line with iOS, watchOS and tvOS, the names of other operating systems.

Brazilian Guilherme Rambo developer tweeted a picture of the file found, and the Brazilian MacMagazin also confirmed that the name actually is in the filename. The framework, which seems to be designed for the tracking of flights but that is currently not in OS X is available as /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/FlightUtilities.framework.

Apple would be a change of name to MacOS naming its operating system for desktops aligning with other names. Moreover, it resembles the classic name of its operating system: Mac OS.

The OS X-maker himself has not yet commented on a possible name change. The most logical time to announce it would be its own developer conference WWDC, which takes place in June.
