Developer Frontier has Expansion 2.2 for Elite Dangerous: Horizons released. The great free expansion will be titled The Guardians and adds include the capability to carry passengers and to launch fighters from a larger spacecraft.

In The Guardians big space ships can be fitted with a launch bay for smaller combat spacecraft. Players can thus add a small fighter to their large spaceship. By hiring a crewlid- NPC, players can get on themselves in the small spacecraft, while the NPC serves the big ship.

Also new is the option to control a passenger spacecraft, or equip an existing space with a passenger bay. This gives players the opportunity to follow a new career path, which, for example politicians, VIPs or prisoners must be transported between different galaxies.

The extension is available for Elite Dangerous: Horizons; this is the second “season” of the game Elite Dangerous, which has been in development since 2014. Every season, which is as dlc for sale, the developer adds new features and missions to the space MMOG.

Along with the expansion The Guardians is a major update for the game itself, which implements many improvements and fix bugs. A complete list of all the innovations in Expansion 2.2 and the update version 1.7 can be found on the forums of developer Frontier Developments.
