Fujifilm announces X-A2 system camera with tiltable LCD to
Fujifilm has announced the X-A2, a Milc of a tilting LCD is provided so it is suitable for using on selfies. Fujifilm also comes with some new FinePix devices.
The successor of the X-A1 is the first in the X series mirrorless ILC’s equipped with an LCD that can tilt 175 degrees, so that the photographer can see themselves. Tilting directly activates the eye detection autofocus. The camera features a 16.3-megapixel sensor with EXR Processor II image processor and the ISO range is 100 to 25,600. The X-A2 is available separately and in combination with the XC16-50mm F3.5-5.6 II-OIS lens. The prices and release dates are not yet known.
Fujifilm brings also the XQ2. This is a compact camera with dimensions of 100×58,5×33,3mm, making it the smallest camera in the X series. The camera has a 2/3 “sensor with a resolution of 12 megapixels with a f1.8-F4.9 lens. The ISO range is 100 to 12,800. Also this camera the price and release date are still unknown.
Finally, introducing the Japanese company two new FinePix models: the S9900W and S9800. Both models feature a 24-1200mm F2.9-F6.5 lens. The cameras shoot photos at up to 16.2 megapixels and video on a full HD resolution at 60fps. Both compact cameras Fujifilm’s 5-axis image stabilization feature. The difference between the two cameras seems to be that the S9900W can be controlled remotely with a smartphone or tablet. Again, the prices are not yet known.
