Futuremark 3DMark shows DirectX 12
Futuremark has released the first images shown from 3DMark for DirectX 12 which contain a complete picture can be given of the performance of video cards in combination with DirectX 12. The new version of the program is two GPU tests and a CPU test.
3DMark DirectX 12 must ensure that the program can paint a good picture of the performance of video cards that support the API. Future Marks product manager Pasi Virtanen stated that the new version two GPU tests, including one called Time Spy, and one CPU test.
The current version of 3DMark knows or has partial support for DirectX 12, the API Overhead Feature Test. This test compares the overhead of DirectX 12, DirectX 11 and Mantle. The new version of 3DMark is a complete system test with DirectX 12 support, which both rendering graphics and the processing capabilities of the CPU being tested.
