Gears of War: Ultimate Edition also comes to Windows




Gears of War: Ultimate Edition not only comes to the Xbox One, but also for Windows. That’s Rod Fergusson of development studios The Coalition announced at E3 PC Gaming Show in Los Angeles.

Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will support DirectX 12 and can be rendered in 4K. Fergusson additionally speaks remastered assets, but it is not clear whether that means that there is a big difference in graphics quality will sit between the Xbox One and Windows versions of this game. It is unclear whether it will also be Windows 10 required for the game.

Originally Gears of War is a game for the Xbox 360. Later came a Windows version of the game with some extra singleplayer content and better graphics. Now Gears of War will be getting yet another remaster for the Xbox One and Windows. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition also contains five additional single-player chapters containing the first PC version. When the PC version comes out, is not yet known.
