GfK: Seven percent of the Dutch used AdBlocker on mobile device

The GfK market research institute has estimated that seven per cent of the owners of mobile devices in the Netherlands because software has been installed on a AdBlocker. In addition to use gives 23 percent to a AdBlocker on one or more devices.

The agency also is looking since 2014 for the interest in smart watches. Which has fallen sharply: last year wanted to seventeen percent of the people like a smart watch, now that only seven percent. The agency has unfortunately not taken into account how many people in the Netherlands now own a smart watch, but sales figures show that the number of sold smart watches in the Netherlands is at most in the tens of thousands, though exact figures are not known.

The number of smart TVs increased according to the figures barely increased, from 29 percent last year to 34 percent this year, or about 4.5 million people. The amount of smart phones also differ slightly with the number of last year, according to GfK, the amount remains within age fairly stable: 55 percent of people over age 65 have a smartphone, while 93 percent of youths between thirteen and seventeen year a has. The tablet is also slightly higher, about 8.6 million people have a tablet.
