GitHub again blocked in Russia
GitHub again appears to be blocked by Russian providers. They would do so by order of the Russian government. GitHub would not want to delete a text in which suicide methods are described.
Github logo The Russian text was posted in March on GitHub and early October led to a brief blockade of the site. The blockade was then abandoned because the text removed would be. The blockade was instituted by the Roskomnadzor, the Russian authority for Communications, Information Technology and Media. The head of the organization, Maxim Ksenzor, showed via twitter that GitHub is blocked because the demands of his organization ignores. Although it is in the requirements for going some specific pages on GitHub, the entire site is blocked.
