GitHub responds to open letter to developers and promises improvements
GitHub responds to the open letter, signed by hundreds of developers in January. They are dissatisfied with the way the development platform deals with suggestions and do not listen to new ideas. GitHub apologizes and promises improvements.
Github logo In his response GitHub is that it apologize for the slow response to the frustrations and the open letter, which was about a month ago, offered on the site. This indicates that we are working on a solution that will be applied over the next few weeks improvements, which specifically dealt with the suggestions in the open letter. GitHub promises beyond that will be then added new features and that it has prepared a number of surprises.
There is also talk of transparency, which should take the place of a lack of communication. GitHub want as clearly to its members show what it is doing and what is planned for the future. Reactions to Communication are mostly positive, though many users respond by just placing a ‘thumbs up’. This is something just as a problem was raised in the open letter. Another problem is that new issues that are being created by users often miss crucial information, because there is no way to add it. It remains to be seen what improvements GitHub has exactly on the schedule in the coming weeks.Viewing:-174
