Gmail in G Suite gets an option for downloading messages in eml format

Google will give Gmail in G Suite a function to download messages in eml format, which users can access in other mail clients. That was not possible until now. Users can also cross out text and there are ‘undo’ and ‘redo’ buttons.

The new buttons and download feature will appear in the next few days with Gmail users in the office suite G Suite, Google reports . The options for ‘undo’ and ‘redo’ appear in the window to compose e-mails, next to buttons to make texts bold or italic. There is also the option to text through.

The new features are standard, says Google. Many users have asked for the functions in recent years. Google does not say anything about whether the buttons and the download option will also be available to private Gmail users. Many functions in the G Suite version also appear for the consumer version, although this is not always the case.
