Google acknowledges microphone problems at Pixel smartphones

Google recognizes product forum on the problems with the microphones in the Pixel and Pixel XL. It would be a hardware error which can ensure that quit working one or more of the three microphones in the devices.

The problem with the microphones can according to Google employees caused by two different things. First, it might be a crack in a soldering tip on the audio codec. In cases where all three of the microphones have problems, this is the most likely cause. Depending on temperature and how the user holds the phone, the problem may at times just disappear. For problems with individual microphones can lie on the mechanism that is getting stuck. Google closes a software problem out.

The problem could occur particularly in pixel devices manufactured before January of this year. Google employee Brian Rakowski argues that Google has put steps from this year to avoid these problems. Pixels at this year’s chance should the occurrence of these problems are below 1 percent. How high that percentage in older devices, is not clear.

Although users to a problem might try to heat it with an individual microphone with a hair dryer to solve to get the cone, Google does not recommend this to. Instead, it is recommended to contact the customer service of the company. Users who are experiencing this problem, apparently without ifs and buts get a new device.
