Google acquires streaming video Anvato Tools Inc.




Google Inc. today announced the acquisition of the company Anvato , a French company founded in 2007 by Alper Turgut, and is working to provide tools broadcasting, edit and publish live video.

Anvato company offers solutions for the management of digital media, and provides a platform for multimedia content tools allow the possibility of the live broadcast of the video, along with the broadcast via the cloud services, and to provide a video-on-demand content, and publish and sell video.

The company is headquartered in Mountain View, California, and its clients include global channels such as NBC Universal NBCUniversal and Fox Sports Fox Sports.

The company offers the possibility of direct broadcast video, along with the possibility of viewing on demand for programs that are broadcast directly through Alkybl channels and works with many channels in order to do so, and providing advertising and subscriptions.

Google said in a post published on the official position on the deal is that with the global dependence accelerating technology OTT video, the two companies will work together to deliver and expand the possibilities of cloud solutions that serve the area to work in the media and entertainment industry.

The new deal will allow the two companies to strengthen infrastructure in the delivery of high quality video with a direct and content, according to consumer demand on any device, whether on smartphones or tablet PCs or TVs connected to the Internet.

And put this deal Google Inc. in a position to directly compete with larger competitors in the field of cloud infrastructure and are Amazon Web Services AWS, which acquired earlier on Elemental Technologies processes video company, and IBM IBM acquired earlier also on the live video broadcast company Ustream.
