Google adds extensive support for ‘lighter’ creating web pages
Google argues that its Web Light functionality has been tested with success, allowing more countries are getting support. The feature can many websites load faster because a “stripped” version of it shown.
Some time ago started a field test with Google for Web Light in Indonesia. According to the Internet giant experiment was successful and now getting Android users in India and Brazil support for faster loading of web pages by displaying a stripped version. The faster version is shown as it is noted that the Internet connection is slow; what Google means by slow is not known. Western countries have been denied access to the feature probably has to do with the fact that Internet connections are faster there. However, it is plausible that the support is later extended further.
Google initially started with showing a lighter version of its websites in case there is a slow link was detected, but it does so now with third party websites. It only works if the web page is loaded from a Google search result. The as yet only works on Android smartphones which use is made of Chrome.
According to Android Police, it is possible to view a webpage stripped by approaching it through a special URL. That can paste the Web page behind http://googleweblight.com/?lite_url=. Not all websites, including Tweakers, seem to work well. According to Google uses Web Light 80 percent less data and web pages can therefore be four times faster loaded. Webmasters otherwise may choose to block the showing of a stripped version.Viewing:-145
