Google adds support for webgl 2.0 to Chrome
Google has support for WebGL 2.0 introduced its Chrome browser. WebGL 2.0 is available in Chrome versions 56 and higher. This should webgraphics of this standard use better performing and provides developers with more opportunities.
On his blog let Google know which WebGL 2.0 is already made available to users of Chrome 56 and later for Windows, Linux and Mac. With version 2.0 of the graphics standard Web graphics performance should be improved. Also provides developers with extensive tools at hand to create graphics, WebGL and thus would be 2.0 on the same level as the widely used OpenGL ES 3.0.
WebGL 2.0 is also available for Chrome on Android. A release date has not been disclosed, but according to Google the required software update would soon be implemented. Mozilla came in version 51 of Firefox already WebGL 2.0 support; that version came early this year. Opera has also been supporting enhanced webgraphicsstandaard.
