Google, and Amazon voice recordings

amazon_echo A little hint for anyone who might have to do the spring cleaning in digital terms every few months. Today we have several language assistants. Particularly interesting is surely Google and also Amazon. That Google records the commands of the user and stores to improve the services in the cloud, that’s no secret more. This is already quite a long time and voice recordings can be deleted.

If not already known, visited this site in your Google settings. Here you can search the language and audio, you can visualize the whole thing by date and, of course, delete it. Alternatively, you can listen to his spoken words or view the transcript written by Google:

But Amazon’s Alexa is the German market with Echo enter stronger. Amazon also relies on the cloud, Amazon records your spoken word. At Amazon, it is currently different, because it is not possible to call the voice recordings explicitly, there is also no global interface, instead it must be deleted on the device. This can be done now, but only for non-echoes. To do this you go into the settings of the respective device and calls the point “Manage voice recordings”. This is somewhat contradictory, because it is not a real management, just a deletion.

First of all important to know: Amazon Echo will get a dedicated management of voice recordings. Here you will manage your recordings on Alexa app can. Under the heading “History” you have the possibility to listen and delete the individual language commands you have executed. Alternatively, you have, as described above, the possibility of complete deletion on the device settings .
