Find a Question:
Google begins for subscription of new applications in Play Store
Google has launched users to subscribe to applications that need to come out sometime in the future. Those who register will receive a notification as soon as the desired application is available. For a “pre-order” does not have to be paid immediately.
The new functionality does not appear to be widely deployed. For the time being only seems to be the game Terminator Genisys: Revolution to make use of the pre-register-button. Android Police discovered that the Play Store page of the game, which was developed by Glu, at the place of purchase button for a registration button is. Who clicks will be informed that a notification is sent to the button when the application is available. Using the same button a user can subsequently unsubscribe for notification. There does not always have to be paid at enrollment.
Probably eventually go more developers make use of the option until tender. Google has done itself no announcement about the new functionality. Why were already traces of enrollment found in the code of the Play Store app, so the feature does not come as a surprise.
