Google Chrome App Launcher removes from operating systems except Chrome OS
Google has decided to stop the App Launcher for operating systems other than Chrome OS. The software is not activated by default when users install a Chrome app, and existing plants are removed in July.
The decision to remove the App Launcher from Windows, Mac OS and Linux was created because according to Google users Chrome apps prefer to start from the browser. The decision is in line with Google’s policy to keep the browser ‘simple and streamlined. So removed Google earlier in 2013 introduced Notification Center for the same reason.
According to Google removed in July existing versions of the app launcher. Users, in which a version is present, this fact shall be informed by means of a notice. In Google’s own Chrome OS retains the App Launcher.
App Launcher made it possible for Chrome apps outside the browser to start using an icon in the taskbar. The apps are still becoming increasingly available through the shortcut in the browser.Viewing:-169
