Google Chrome for Android

: Progressive web apps get more skills, closer to native apps
So-called web apps are a great way to keep certain content without an app on the smartphone’s home screen. Chrome has been offering this since 2015. The links appear with the icon on the homescreen, but only there. Because in App Drawer, they are not logical to find, there are no installed apps. This changes soon because Google wants to give the Progressive Web Apps more skills. Adding such a web app to the Homescreen, it also appears in the app drawer as well as under installed apps. You can then uninstall it again.
